Act now for justice, equality and an end to the military occupation of Palestine
NO TO RAFAH INVASION – CEASEFIRE NOW
On 7 May the Israeli military issued relocation orders to people sheltering in parts of Rafah, the first step towards a full-scale invasion that will most likely kill thousands of Palestinians. Since then, Israel has been intensely bombing Rafah, including civilian homes and areas marked as safe. There are no safe spaces in Gaza. Israel has repeatedly attacked so-called ‘safe zones’, killing displaced people.
Please click below to urge your MP to take immediate and urgent action to stop Israel’s military offensive in Rafah.

3. Send one of our eyewitness stories to your elected representatives and faith leaders and ask them to call for justice.
Dear [elected representative / faith leader],
I am writing as your constituent / congregant to ask you to take urgent action to help end the occupation of Palestine and bring about a just peace for all Palestinians and Israelis. I recently read the eyewitness account in the link below which describes the everyday situation facing Palestinians living under military occupation. I believe we all have a duty to speak up when we learn about violations of human rights. I hope that you will use your position to speak up too.
[You could add here some of your own comments or explain the story briefly and what particularly moved you about it].

I ask that you write to the Minister for Foreign Affairs / head of the faith denomination raising my concerns and asking what proactive action they will take to help bring about a just peace.
Yours sincerely,
[Your name and address – elected representatives are only obliged to reply to members of their own constituency]
